Welcome to

Come along and discover English Folk Dancing in a friendly, social environment.
Neston Folk Dance Club meets every Wednesday from September to June and welcomes everyone to join. Young or old, experienced or beginner, everyone can get involved, have fun and dance!
All dances are explained and "walked through" before being danced to either recorded or live music (we have live music every other week) and no special clothing is needed! You don't even need to bring a partner, just bring sensible footwear for dancing and your enthusiasm. We start at 8pm and finish at 10pm.
Research shows that dancing can improve both mental and physical health by boosting your overall happiness, increasing stamina, strengthening muscles and bones and providing a low impact, gentle cardio workout. It even suggests that regular dancing is linked with a 76 percent reduction in dementia risk - the same benefit as playing a board game and it's much more social!
Our regular meeting place is the Community Hall at the URC Church in Neston. Details can be found in the Programme section and Maps can be found in the Find Us section.

Meetings cost £3, normally this includes mid-time refreshments.
